5464929014 A type of developmental and epileptic encephalopathy that presents with frequent typically drug-resistant tonic and/or myoclonic seizures in the first 3 months of life. They may also have focal seizures, epileptic spasms and sequential seizures. Developmental impairment is present prior to or shortly after seizure onset becoming moderate to profound developmental impairment with time. Neurological examination is typically abnormal at seizure onset with abnormalities of tone, posture, or movement.
